Brief characteristics:
MAFIX SANITAR is a one-component elastic silicone based sealant of the acetate type vulcanizing by the air humidity with the effective anti funghicid additive. It is suitable for bonding, sealing and jointing of non-porous kinds of material, especially for sanitary, kitchen and other caulking applications with the request for the resistence against the mildew (sealing of casings and joints of shower baths, bath tubes, washbasins, pissoirs, cooling counters, swimming pools, humid plants and medical facilities). The sealant resists UV radiation and themperatures -40 up to +100°C

Service instructions:
The substrate areas have to be clean, greased and dry. Cut off the the application pinpoint as per the thickness requested. Extrude the content of the tube by the manual or pneumatic gun. To achieve the perfekt appearnce use the masking (sticky) tape. Flat the joints by spatula or finger soaked in the soap water till five minutes after the application. Remove the masking tape immediately after the application.

Storage:
MAFIX SANITAR has a storage life of 24 months when stored in the cold (under +25°C) dry place in the original packings resiatant against the humidity. The date of the minimum durability is mentioned on the label. The storage under the different conditions than it is mentioned on the label need not be necesarily of the meaning that the product is unusable. But testing the properties from the mason to ensure the quality for this purpose is essential.

Safety and health protection:
During the vulcanization acetic acid gets released. These vapours should not be inhalated for a longer period or in the higher concentrations. That is the mason why there is a need to ensure a good ventilation of the working place. If the uncured silicone based rubber penetrates directly to eyes or mucous membranes, the affected area has to be washed with water at once, otherwise an irritation can occur. But the cured silicone based rubber can be handled with without any health risk.

Warranty:
The quality of the glue is guaranteed by the producer for the period of 24 months from the date mentioned on the pack at the temperature +5 up to +25°C. Protect against the frost!

MAFIX PVC CLEANER 20 is a mixture of alcohols and aromatic hydrocarbons designed for cleaning before and after bonding. MAFIX PVC CLEANER 20 contains anti-static additive that protects the surface against quick polution. MAFIX PVC CLEANER 20 is used berofe application of the glue and for cleaning after bonding.
