Brief characteristics:
Butylplast 5N is a one-component mastic sealant that is intended for caulking the outer joints of the assembled buildings with the span of the elements of 4800 mm. The width of the joint caulked can be in the range from 15 to 40 mm. The mastic sealant is not suitable for caulking the joints of the interiors and buildings whereit enters the contact with drinking water, foods, etc. The average service life is 15 years.

Service instructions:
TThe sealant is applied at the temperature of above +5°C. The sealing is not recommended when raining. The touching areas are cleaned from dust, sandand other impurities in the area of caulking before caulking the joints. The hoard profile made of microporous rubber or band made of light-weight PU, PE is pressed down into the joint. The penetration coating Butylex is applied on the dry contact spots. The coat is applied with the brush. After drying of the coat Butylplast 5N is applied (at 20°C approximately for 15 minutes)by a pneumatic gun.

Storage:
Butylplast 5N is stored in the dry ventilated stores at the temperature +15°C up to - 25°C. The storage of the cardboard boxes in more than four layers is not recommended.

Packaging:
Butylplast 5N is packed into the coloured PE hose with the printing in the dimensional version with the diameter of 50±2 mm, with the length of the cylinder of 280 – 310 mm. Also another packing is possible based on the arrangement with the buyer. The contaminated PE hoses are removed in the incineration plants determined to this.

The workability of the product is guaranteed by the producer provided the mentioned application procedures and the correct way of storing are kept.
