Alkaprén® for floorcoverings

Brief characteristics:
Alkaprén^® for floorcoverings is a rubber based contact adhesive intended for the gluing of PVC floorcoverings, linoleum, ruber floorings, carpets, cork and PVC listels to the common grounds (e.g. concrete, wood, floor smoothing compounds).

Properties:

Service instructions:
The glue has to be given the thorough stir before the use. The concrete floor has to a nie have to meet the requirements of Standard. The substate has to be clean, dry, ungreased. A thin layer of the glue should be applied by toothed or smooth or by brush on each joined surface. The application temperaturer has to be at least + 15°C. The glue is left to ventilate (for about 12 minutes) and afterwards the surfaces are glued together. An even joint is achieved by the use of roller (rolling from the center to the border in order to remove the air bubbles). The joint can be stressed mechanically till 24 hours after its creation. If the substrate is very porous, the application of the penetration coating is recommended which can be made with the diluted Alkaprén^® for floorcoverings (with Alkaprén ZAL thinner in 1:2 ratio) After the thorough drying of the penetration coating the glue can be applied. At the temperature lower than +5°C gelatation can occur. In such a condition the glue is inapplicable. The original consistency can be achieved by the gradual tempering to the room temperature of about + 25°C. During tempering the glue should be stirred for several times. After tempering the glue wil have its original physic-mechanical properties. Do not temper by direct heating!

Storage:
Alkaprén^® for floorcoverings should be stored in the original wrappings in the rooms intended for storage of inflammable matters. The temperature in the room can oscilate between +10°C and +20°C.

Packings:
The tins with the content of 3.6 kg , non-returnable wrappings with 7.5, 15 or 21 kg content or other according to the arrangement with the customer.

Warranty:
If the transport and storage instructions are kept, the quality of Alkaprén®for floorcoverings is guaranteed by the producer for the whole warranty period.

Alkaprén^® for floorcoverings is an inflammable liquid of the 1st class of hazard. When working with Alkaprén^® for floorcoverings it is necessary to keep the provision s of safety and health protection during the work which are given in the Safety data sheet.

The products are tested by our laboratories for keeping of properties described in technical standards. If other appliances or methods of measurements are used, different results can be obtained. Also if it is to be used in another way or for another purpose than determined here, the method of application has to be tested directly at the workplace under the conditions that are typical.
