Brief characteristics:
Alkaprén^® 25 PLUS is a rubber contact adhesive without toluene, destined for gluing of non-porous materials (e. g. rubber on rubber, metals, glass and the like), based on a chloroprene rubber. It has got light-beige colour.

Service instructions:
Alkaprén^® 25 PLUS adhesive shall be applied on each material only once, either by spatula, spraying gun or by brush. Before application of the adhesive it has to be given a thorough stir. A thin layer of the adhesive shall be applied on both clean defatted surfaces (it is recommended to roughen smooth surfaces), then it is to be let to ventilate for 6 - 14 minutes and afterwards the surfaces shall be glued together. The ventilation time shall differ according to the room moisture and a workplace temperature. It is recommended to press the glued materials together. The joint can be stressed mechanically only 24 hours after it has been glued. The best conditions for gluing are at temperature of 20°C. At temperature lower than 5°C gelation can occur. In such condition the glue is inapplicable. Original consistency shall be achieved by gradual tempering in the room at temperature of about 25°C. During tempering the glue shall be given a stir for several times. After tempering the glue will have its original physicmechanical properties. Do not temper by direct heating!

Cleaning:
The tools used can be cleaned by Alkaprén^®ZAL diluent. In case of skin contamination the using of abrasive paste for cleaning hands is recommended.

Storage:
Alkaprén^® 25 PLUS shall be stored in original wrappings in the rooms intended for storage of inflammable matters. Temperature in the room can oscillate between +10°C and +20°C.

Packaging:
Tins with the 0.35; 0.9 and 3.6 kg content, nonreturnable wrappings with 7.5; 15 or 45 kg content or as per the arrangement with the buyer.

Warranty:
If the transport and storage instructions are kept, the producer guarantees the quality of Alkaprén^®25 PLUS during the gauranty period.

Safety and health protection:
Alkaprén^® 25 PLUS is an inflammable liquid of the 1st class of fire hazard. During working with Alkaprén^® 25 PLUS it is necessary to keep the provisions, which are specified in a Safety Data Sheet.

Warning:
Our products are tested in our laboratories for keeping of properties described in technical standards. If used another appliances or method of measurement, different results could be obtained. Also if it is to be used in other manner or for another purpose as denoted here, it has to be this method of application tested at the workplace under the conditions which are there typical. For these joints producer cannot guarantee their strength and durability.
