Alkaprén® 140 Plus

Brief characteristics:
Alkaprén^® 140 Plus is a rubber based contact adhesive intended for th egluing on the kinds of the material with the porous surface (textile, plywood, wood, concrete).

Properties:

Service instructions:
Alkaprén^® 140 Plus glue is applied on each kind of material only once and it is either by spatula, spraying gun or brush. The glue to be given a thorough stir before the application. A thin layer of the adhesive is applied on each clean grease-free kind of the material (it is recommended to rough the smooth areas), it is left to get cured and the surfaces are bonded after that. The glued joint is recommended to be burden or press-in. The glued joint can be stressed mechanically till after 24 hours after the gluing. The optimal conditions for gluing are under the temperature of 20°C. The gelling action can occur under the temperatures lower than 5°C. The adhesive cannot be used in this condition. The original consistency can be achieved by the gradual tempering in the room under the temperature of approximately 25°C. During the tempering the glue should be stirred for several times. After tempering the glue. After tempering the glue wil have its original physical-mechanical properties. Do not temper by the direct heating!Under the temperatures below 0°C it coagulates irreversibly and its gluing ability cannot be revived.

Cleaning:
The tool used can be cleaned by Alkaprén^®ZAL diluent. In the case of the contamination of the hands the use of the abrasive cleaning paste is recommended.

Storage:
Alkaprén^® 140 Plus is stored in the original packs in the rooms intended for storing of combustibles that are in accordance with the provision of CSN 65 0201. The temperature in the room can oscilate from + 10°C to + 25°C.

Packing:
Tins with the filling of 3.6 kg nonreturnable metal drums with the content of 21 kg or as per the arrangement with the buyer.

Warranty:
The quality of Alkaprén^®140 Plus is guaranteed by the producer for the whole warranty period provided the storing conditions are kept.

Safety and health protection:
Alkaprén^® 140 Plus is a flammable liquid of the first class of hazard. The provisions of mentioned in the card of the safety sata sheet are have to be kept hen working with Alkaprén^® 140 Plus or during its transport and storing.

Warning:
The workability of the product is guaranteed by the producer provided the mentioned application procedures and the correct way of storing are kept. If the product is supposed to be used for another kind of purpose than it is determined, there is a need to check its usability in the place under the conditions under which the gluing is supposed to be carried out. The warranty for the quality of the joint cannot be provided by the producer in the case of the product used in this way.
