Brief characteristic:
Alkaprén^® 50 is a rubber contact adhesive intended for gluing of liquid-absorbing with liquid-non-absorbing materials (e. g. rubber - concrete, leather - rubber, laminates - timber).

Service instructions:
This adhesive shall be applied at sticking of liquid-absorbing with liquid-non-absorbing materials only once, either by spatula, by spraying gun or by brush. At sticking of liquid-absorbing materials at least one of materials to be glued together must be coated one more time before sticking. Before application of the adhesive it has be given a thorough stir. A thin layer of the adhesive shall be applied on each clean defatted material (it is recommended to roughen smooth surfaces), then it is to be let to fade and afterwards the surfaces shall be glued together. It is recommended to load or to press the glued joint. It can be stressed mechanically only 24 hours after it has been glued. Optimum conditions for gluing are at the temperature of 20 °C. At the temperature lower than 5°C gelation can occur. In such a condition the glue is inapplicable. Original consistency shall be achieved by gradual tempering in the room at the temperature of about 25 °C. During tempering the glue shall be given a stir for several times. After tempering the glue will have its original physic-mechanical properties. Do not temper by direct heating!

Cleaning:
The tools used can be cleaned by Alkaprén^®ZAL diluent. In case of skin contamination the using of abrasive paste for cleaning hands is recommended.

Storage:
Alkaprén^® 50 shall be stored in original wrappings in the rooms intended for storage of inflammable matters corresponding to provisions of the STN 65 0201 standard Inflammable liquids. Operational units and storehouses. Temperature in the room can oscillate between +10 and +20 °C.

Packaging:
Tins with the 0.35; 0.9 and 3.6 kg content, nonreturnable wrappings with 7.5; 15 or 45 kg content or as per the arrangement with the buyer.

Warranty:
At observing the transport and storage instructions, the producer warrants the quality of Alkaprén^® 50 during the storage period.

Safety and health protection:
Alkaprén^® 50 is an inflammable liquid of the 1st class of fire hazard. At work with Alkaprén^® 50 it is necessary to observe the provisions, which are specified in a Safety Datasheet.

Also if it is to be used in other manner or for other purposes as here denoted, it has to be this method of application tested at the workplace under the conditions that are typical.
